Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has reportedly needed to break up catty fights between her contestants behind the scenes at this year’s X Factor.

According to reports today, the X Factor judge has been forced to step in as tensions continue to rise behind the scenes. Cheryl, who is mentoring Chloe Jasmine, Lauren Platt, Lola Saunder and Stephanie Nala, has reportedly had to break up numerous disagreements between the girls.

The Sun have revealed that Lauren and Chloe Jasmine have clashed recently, after Chloe had requested a stylist. Meanwhile, Lauren later had it out with Stephanie, while Chloe was once more the focus of another argument between herself and Lola.

The newspaper has stated that Cheryl has told the girls to quit their bitchy behaviour.

“The girls’ category is at risk of being torn apart by infighting,” a source told the newspaper. “Cheryl is not happy… Cheryl was especially concerned about Chloe Jasmine, so she took her to one side for a chat to sort things out.”

Meanwhile, tonight’s live shows will see special guest performances from Jessie J and Maroon 5.
