The actor has topped the list three years in a row.
Robert is said to have amassed a cool $80 million over the last 12 months, putting him in the number one spot ahead of Tom Cruise, Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper.
The list, which was unveiled this week, is swamped by Bollywood stars who have booted the likes of Leonardo Di Caprio and Johnny Depp out of the top ten.
Leo came in at number 13.
In fact, four out of the ten hail from outside Hollywood, with China’s Jackie Chan and Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar all nabbing the coveted top spots.
Here is the list of the world's highest paid actors of 2015 in order.
1. Robert Downey Jr: $80m
2. Jackie Chan: $50m
3. Vin Diesel: $47m
4. Bradley Cooper: $41.5m
5. Adam Sandler: $41m
6. Tom Cruise: $40m
7. Amitabh Bachchan: $33.5m
7. Salman Khan: $33.5m
