The reason why Kate Middleton was ‘in tears’ in the lead up to Meghan and Harry’s wedding

The rumours of a rift are continuing to grow.

For the last few weeks, there have been plenty of rumours circulation that there is some kind of possible feud between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.

It all began when it was revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are going to be moving out of Kengisnton Palace, with the news followed by reports Kate was left “in tears” after a fitting for Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid’s dress.

And then there was speculation that there was no feud, after Kate’s recent comments about Meghan’s pregnancy.

Then, again, there were rumours that they “fell out” after Meghan reportedly told off a member of Kate’s staff – the only time that Kensington Palace actually issued a statement in response.

We just can’t keep up.

Now, a source claiming to be a family friend told PEOPLE what exactly had left the Duchess of Cambridge “in tears” in the lead up to Harry and Meghan’s royal wedding in May.

“There was an argument between Meghan and Kate over the fit of Princess Charlotte‘s dress,” they explained.

Meanwhile, another royal insider added that there had been “very few fittings” for the bridesmaids, which was another source of stress.

They continued:

“There were very few fittings for the bridesmaids. Everything was left to the last minute, and it was really stressful for everyone involved.”
