There’s a super random link between Kate Middleton and Kim Kardashian

Weird.

So, I think I can safely say that the world is obsessed with Kate Middleton. Not in a weird way. I think people really admire her, and can almost relate to her in certain ways. Sure, she's a member of the royal family, but she's also a wife and a mum. And it would seem as a though a member of Hollywood's royal family feels the same. Kim Kardashian has been an admirer of Kate Middleton for some time, and I had no idea. In fact, Kim K is such a fan of the Duchess of Cambridge, she names a shoe after her. To celebrate Kate's 30th birthday back in 2012, Kim paired up with Shoedazzle to create “The Duchess.” The shoe style was described as "classic quilting and graceful silhouette channels the Duchess's classic style.” Kim K also released a YouTube video at the time, wishing Kate Middleton a happy birthday. “I love her style personally and I think that every woman should feel like a princess every day,” she said. This wasn't the Kardashian's first attempt at trying to woo Kate. In 2012, the Kardashian sisters teamed up with Dorothy Perkins, and sent items from their collection to Kate Middleton. However, royals cannot receive gifts from people they do not know, so they sent the clothes back. Awks.
