Look we can’t fault Adele – not that we would ever try.
The star is one of the greatest contemporary performers, a witty genius, and a general good gal. She’s gas craic altogether.
So it’s no surprise that she made an absolute shit load of money in 2015.
Her third album, 25 sold more than 15 million copies worldwide, selling the first million within ten days of its release. Crikey.
Of course, then there was the sold-out world tour.
She was a busy lady.
And all that hard work paid off. According to The Sunday Times Rich List, Adele’s earnings increased by £35 million in 2015.
Her total £85 million fortune places her at number 30 in the overall UK and Ireland music millionaires list, above Sir Cliff Richard, Gary Barlow, and Kylie Minogue.
She’s one of just three solo women to make it onto the 2016 list.
