So over the weekend members of the royal family were decked out in their finery to attend a wedding. Close friend of the family Charlie van Straubenzee tied the knot - and a number of familiar faces were there. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended the wedding, along with Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank. And as glorious as the day seemed, there was a pretty notable absence. WHERE were Kate and William? And their perfectly gorgeous kiddos? The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were nowhere to be seen at the wedding, and we're wondering why. Prince Harry was best man on the day, and William is extremely good friends with Charlie's older brother (who is George's godfather.) And yet, they were absent! Y THO? Hello! reports that Kate and William missed the wedding because "the couple may have always planned to shun the spotlight and slip into the reception later this evening." There is also a theory that perhaps the Cambridge's have not yet returned from their holiday in Mustique. The publication also referenced The Suffolk's attendance, saying that "Harry and Meghan were always sure to attend, with the Prince's best man duties a poorly kept secret." Well, either way the day looked great!
