They have not seen each other in a long time.

So yesterday we learned of Thomas Markle's fears that he may never see his daughter again. The man has been suffering with his health, and is worried that he may die before he gets to meet with his daughter. And now, he has said that he is considering flying to the U.K to try and make peace with Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex. “If I chose in a month, or couple of months, to go to En­g­land — I want to see my daughter. I’m thinking about it," he said to The Sun.

“I’m not going to wave flags and make a fool of myself. I’d find a hotel room and try to reach them.”

And while this is a sweet gesture from a man who misses his child, I WISH he'd stop harping on to the press about it. Just last week Thomas spoke about how Meghan is "hiding behind a fake smile" and that she's struggling with royal life. Thomas said that he felt his daughter was under far too much pressure, and that he didn't understand the need for a dress code. I mean, I kind of agree with that. Thomas Markle is yet to meet his son-in-law, Prince Harry, having missed the wedding. Hopefully there will be a family reunion in the coming months, and everything works out okay. Who doesn't love a happy ending?
