Ah the noughties – a time where many of us hit our teen years with prolific force.
One thing that came with these years? A number of phases.
A certain phase that almost everyone went through was the “emo phase” or “punk phase”.
You remember it?
Shit dyed black hair, an ill-advised side fringe and colourful skinny jeans.
There was also (usually) skull paraphernalia and some sort of fishnet banter.
And the best part of these phases? There are countless pictures to look back on and enjoy, time and time again.
Anyway, it seems as though nobody is immune to this chronic throwback humiliation.
Not even the queen that is Taylor Swift.
And frankly, we’re relieved to know that even super famous people weren’t always so perfect.
A picture has emerged on Instagram today, that came from Taylor’s old MySpace account.
And needless to say, it is totally iconic.
Shared by the wonderful folk at Nylon, the picture shows a moody looking Taylor Swift.
She looks virtually unrecognisable, with jet black hair, and some pretty questionable layers.
Rocking what seems to be a grey tie-dye zippy and some pretty hardcore jewellery – this really is the ultimate throwback.
