Tom Is Saddened Because He’s Not Getting to See Suri

Tom Cruise may well be putting on a brave face and distracting himself with thoughts of Cameron Diaz but it seems that underneath it all, the Hollywood star is finding it tough at the moment.

The Mission Impossible actor, who divorced Katie Holmes earlier this year, hasn’t seen his daughter Suri in over two months. The absence appears to be taking its toll.

Katie and Tom famously divorced earlier this year.

According to this week’s edition of People magazine the 50 year old, who is currently based in London for upcoming film project, said: “I’ve got to see her… I miss her.”

It seems that Tom’s jam-packed work schedule and the Atlantic Ocean are keeping the pair apart as Suri is busy attending school in New York and doesn’t have as much time as she used to. Such a hard life for a six-year-old, isn’t it?

Despite being so far apart, the pair do speak on a daily basis. Screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie told the publication: “I haven’t had a meeting with Tom that was not interrupted by a phone call with his daughter.”
