Some big UK names have been lined up for The Late Late Show this week.
Top comedian Jason Manford will be on The Late Late Show this Friday, and will be joined by Never Mind the Buzzcocks star Phill Jupitus, Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp and EastEnders and Corrie star Michelle Collins.
All four are in town to promote their new musical, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, which comes to the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre from 24th February to 13th March.
Jason will also chat about his Irish roots, while Phill Jupitus will reflect fondly on his memories of the late Terfy Wogan.
Also on the show will be Chris Ricketts, who began life as a female, subsequently gave birth to two children, but on the inside always identified as male. He believes that society needs to overcome ideas of what defines a man and a woman and should accept him as a man without gender reassignment surgery.
Room to Improve star, Dermot Bannon, will be stopping by to chat about politics with Ryan, the issues with modular housing and a solution to end the problem.

Jimmy Norman, the founder of Aoibheann’s Pink Tie, will talk to Ryan about channelling his grief following the tragic death of his young daughter from cancer and how he created a national children’s charity to help support other families whose children are battling the disease.
Lastly, food writer and entrepreneur Ella Woodward will speak about how she has formed a career as the poster girl for healthy eating with her first book becoming Amazon’s best-seller of 2015.
Music on the night will be from 80’s legends Bagatelle and singer-songwriter Gavin Glass.
