In all the excitement wrapped up in Beyoncé taking centre stage at Croker this summer, it’s no surprise her near fall during last night’s Super Bowl is taking a back seat this morning.
The ‘Single Ladies’ singer joined Coldplay and Bruno Mars for the half-time slot – but it was a dance off with Mars that nearly saw the hitmaker take a tumble on the main stage:
It seems even when she almost falls she’s flawless, with the star pulling the step into her dance move.
Fans took to Twitter to defend their Queen, who performed new track ‘Formation’ on the night:
Everybody is makin fun of Beyonce because she almost fell at the super bowl. Guuurrrll where???? She made that fall part of her routine???.

Beyoncé is probably the only person that could almost fall on stage and make it look like it was planned ??https://t.co/viFY4bdaPR

Listen, @Beyonce did not “almost fall”.
She briefly forgot that she had to pretend that gravity affects her.#SuperBowl— Tony Pierce (@busblog) February 8, 2016
When you almost fall, but you’re Beyonce? #SuperBowl https://t.co/5H0HyVGqv1

And just in case there was any doubt…
@Beyonce didn’t almost fall, she was reenacting that time she came down from heaven. #stupidhumans #SuperBowl
