Congratulations are in order for two stars of Emmerdale!
Fiona Wade has announced that she is engaged to her former co-star Simon Cotton.
The couple have been dating for a little over six months, but have known each other for quite some time.
Fiona, who plays Prima Sharma in the popular soap, made the announcement yesterday through a very sweet Instagram post.
“Two days ago this beautiful man asked me to be his wife,” she wrote.
“There has never been an easier answer to a question…. Yes! Feel so incredibly blessed. Wishing you all a wonderful 2019 and so much love for the year ahead.”

Along with this lovely message, Fiona shared a sweet candid snap of herself and Simon, looking very cute.
And in an even lovelier turn of events, the couple’s Emmerdale co-stars were quick to comment on the snap, sharing their joy with the news.
