Una Healy has broken her silence on the claims that she was in a "throuple" with David Haye and his girlfriend Siân Osborne.

People first thought the three were in a relationship at the start of this year when they posted some photos on Instagram from a trip to Morocco together, and they were getting very cosy. Una has since removed all evidence of David from her feed and has since confirmed she is single. Now, for the first time ever, The Saturdays singer has opened up about her romance with the couple and was adamant that she was never part of a "throuple" and was only ever dating David. Speaking to Vogue Williams and Joanne McNally on the My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast, Una said: “Dating him is the right term because that’s how it was, it wasn’t a throuple.” She recalled having a "lovely relationship" with the former boxer and said the two met through the celebrity dating app Raya. Initially being turned off him as he said he "didn’t believe the traditional relationship exists anymore”, the more Una spoke to David, the closer the two got, and began casually dating. He was very honest that I wasn’t the only woman he was seeing, I was very aware he was seeing other people. “I knew he was being honest and it’s not like I was being cheated on. I knew he wasn’t husband material, just a bit of fun and I was enjoying it.” Una also said she didn't want to meet Sian originally but was worried that people would think David was cheating once their romance was made public. Una continued: “At least if we’re all pictured together we’re all a happy family, there’s nothing sinister going on. “He doesn’t label, he’s never called her [Sian] his girlfriend, he’s open, polyamorous. So I did meet her and she was a really nice girl but there was nothing going on there so it wasn’t a throuple. “I wasn’t romantic with her, I don’t really know her." When it came to the "throuple" headlines, Una decided to end things and while David didn't seem to mind, it was not something she wanted to be involved with anymore. She said: "I think he was very happy about it but I was in bits about it. “He didn’t get it, he was always trying to coach me on how not to get upset but I’ve never had to hit the block button so much. I had a list of words blocked on Instagram.”
