The Vampire Diaries’ Claire Holt and her husband, Andrew Joblon, are expecting their second child together.
The actress shared the happy news on Instagram this week, as she posted a sweet family photo. The photo shows a smiling Joblon holding their one-year-old son, James, while Holt rests her hand on her bump beside them.
“Grateful for this little ray of sunshine in an uncertain time,” she added in the caption for the post.

Her sweet post comes days after she marked James’ first birthday – and the “shortest/longest, most epic year of my life.”
Taking to Instagram, she posted a selfie of herself and James and a photo from the day he was born.

“My baby is 1!! Pretty cool that you can grow your own best friend. It’s been the shortest/longest, most epic year of my life,” she wrote.
“Shout-out to my legendary teammate @ajoblon. It’s all super easy from here, right??”
“My world,” Joblon wrote in the comments of the post, alongside a heart emoji. “Keeping me grateful and thankful in these trying times.”
The couple wed in August 2018, before The Originals star announced her pregnancy in October that year.
James was born on March 28, 2019.
