For People Magazine’s Beautiful issue, stars from Vanessa Hudgens to Jennifer Garner went makeup and photoshop free to grace the pages of the magazine for the special annual edition.

Vanessa, who looked as flawless with her glam on and off, spoke in the issue about refinding herself at 27 when she felt she suffered an early “midlife crisis”.

Speaking to the publication she said:

“I remember waking up at 27 and that was the first moment where I was like, ‘Oh. I am not a kid. I’m not a teenager. I’m an adult and I have responsibilities.’ I felt like I had no idea who I was or what I wanted or what I was going after.”

I mean, we can fully relate.

Continuing the High School Musical star admitted that although it wasn’t a pleasant experience, it helped her to find herself in a time when she clearly needed it.

“I’m very grateful for it because then it forced me to reassess who I am and what I believe in, therefore giving me just a better understanding of myself.

“Now that I’ve reached 30, it’s so nice feeling free to just speak your mind.

And turning 30 has also taught Vanessa that there are some things that just won’t ever go away, like acne

“I thought being 30 I wouldn’t have to deal with breakouts anymore and it’s something that I still deal with.

“As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that my face is the only one I got, so I have to be good to it.

Again, feels.
