Olivia Burns, founder of Coleraine luxury candle company Olivia’s Haven, over the weekend revealed that Dempsey had been staying with her for the past two weeks while he films the sequel to Disney's Enchanted.

The Hollywood star, who is best known for his role as Dr McDreamy in Grey's Anatomy, landed in Ireland earlier this month to shoot the upcoming Disenchanted.

Olivia took to Instagram to share a photo of herself and Dempsey, and describe the experience.

"That time Dr. McDreamy stayed at Olivia’s Haven HQ for 2 weeks!" she began. "The secret is out! We have been hosting the fabulous Patrick Dempsey for the last 2 weeks as he prepares to star in his exciting new Disney film, Disenchanted."

"It has been very surreal going to work and seeing McDreamy everyday. We have enjoyed lots of daily chats with Patrick about the beautiful Northern Irish countryside and of course Olivia’s Haven (his favourite scent is our smoky Irish Fireside)."

Oliva went on to say that Patrick was a big hit with their resident donkey, Neddy. The donkey, thanks to Dempsey, is now Insta famous.

"We are sad to see him go today but loved having him to stay and wish Patrick lots of luck with his new film, we can’t wait to see it!," Olivia went on. "P.S. Patrick wants us to set up an Instagram page just for Neddy - what do we think?"

Dempsey and co-star Amy Adams arrived in Ireland a few weeks back. Patrick confirmed his location sharing an image of the Irish countryside with the caption: "Ireland!"

Adams added that she was currently "in Ireland getting ready to film the sequel to Enchanted." She added that she was "very excited" to start shooting the movie, with is currently filming in Co Wicklow.

A release date for the film has yet to be confirmed, so we can only hope for a Christmas 2021 release.
