Vogue Williams went to therapy after last big break up after noticing ‘dating pattern’

Ellen Fitzpatrick

Tough one.

Vogue Williams has revealed that she sought out therapy before she married Spencer Matthews after going through a rough break up.

The presenter revealed that she began seeing a therapist after her “last big break up” when she started to see a pattern in the type of men she dated.

Before she was married to Spencer, Vogue was married to Westlife’s Brian McFadden for three years before separating in 2015.

Opening up on her past relationships on Steph’s Packed Lunch, the model said: “I went to therapy after I had my last big break up and [the therapist] was like, how are you not seeing this pattern?”

Vogue went on to say that therapy worked for her as it opened her eyes to why were relationships ended the way they did and that she had a tendency to want “to help people all the time.”

Vogue said: “It did work. It made you think about what you’re doing and I do keep going back to the same thing.

“No wonder it’s not working out all the time and then you meet someone else that’s completely different and you go, “oh ok.””

Steph McGovern then asked if she thinks she always went for “damaged people thinking you could help them” and the mum responded: “I think so, yeah. You can never change a person!”

Thankfully it has all worked out for Vogue as she’s now expecting her third child with Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, who she met on the set of Channel 4 winter sports reality series The Jump in early 2017.

The pair got engaged in February 2018 and married in June of that year, before welcoming their son Theodore in September 2018 and daughter Gigi in July 2020.
