The Dubliner and former Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews announced their engagement on Thursday, around a year after they first started dating.

And while both of them have been sharing glimpses of the ring on social media since they confirmed their happy news, a closer view of it has now been posted – and it’s even bigger than we thought.
Vogue posted the photo on her Instagram account on Friday, joking that her fiancé may have “found his calling in life” as a jewellery designer.
She captioned the snap:
“I can’t stop staring… @spencermatthews you’ve found your calling in life, I want you designing all of my jewellery from now on ?”

Meanwhile, Spencer shared a similar-style close up photo of the ring on his own Instagram account, explaining how he designed it.
He wrote:
“My friend Neil @duttsonrocks and I really enjoyed the journey of making this beautiful ring for my fiancée @voguewilliams…
“I loved designing it and believe it suits her perfectly…
“The countless trips to the workshop in Hatton Garden became worth it the moment she said yes!!!”

According to Metro, experts have weighed in, estimating that the ring cost around £150,000.
The former Made in Chelsea star popped the question ons take at the Lion King in London’s Lyceum Theatre.
On the moment he proposed, Spencer said:
“I’ve known Vogue was the one for a long time. We’re very happy and in love.
“She’s my best friend and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her. ‘
“The engagement had to be special, and as our first trip away together was to Disneyland Paris, it felt like the perfect fit.
“The Lion King is also one of the greatest stories of all time, so I figured that having just had a romantic evening watching it, she’d probably say yes!”
