Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews reveal James Middleton is the godfather of their son

Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews have confirmed James Middleton as a godparent to their 8-month-old son, Theodore.

While in Dublin during the week, Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews revealed that their first child has not two but, five godparents in an interview with VIP Magazine.

“Vogue went down the family route, her sister Amber is his godmother, my sister Nina is also godmother and then a few of my pals, Max Keble White, my cousin Rob Parker and James Middleton will be his godfathers, not a bad crowd."

James Middleton is the brother to Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge. Spencer and James would know eachother because his other sister, Pippa Middleton is married to Spencer's brother, James Matthews. And so, there's plenty of linked royal blood floating among these families. Revealing why they chose so many godparents for their little tot, Spencer said it was a mark of love to their closest friends.

“It’s more a nod to our close friends and a nod to their reliability and responsibility. A little gold star on a very good friend."

Little Theodore Matthews is expected to be christened in the June of this year, around the same time that Vogue and Spencer will celebrate their one year wedding anniversary. Cute.
