Wes Nelson and Vanessa Bauer have a natural chemistry on the ice – and now it’s claimed that they got very close off camera too.
The Dancing On Ice partners have always insisted that their relationship is just professional but a show insider has said that they enjoyed a brief fling early in the competition.
They were instantly attracted to one another, the source claimed, but ultimately decided not to get serious.
“It wasn’t long before Wes decided he would rather stay single. He is the man of the moment and fast becoming a household name,” they told The Sun.
“Girls are queuing up to knock on his door. The last thing he needs is a serious relationship. Vanessa has come to accept it.
It has been awkward between them, the insider added, but they’re trying to be professional.
“They know that the Dancing On Ice trophy is theirs to lose.”
Wes went into the competition as half of one of the last Love Island 2018 couples standing.
He and Megan Barton-Hanson met on the show but split in January.
She had publicly lashed out at Vanessa after the ice skater broke up with her own boyfriend Louis Nathaniel shortly before her first performance with Wes.
