Wanted: One Assistant, Must Work Overtime & Share a Bed With The Boss

While most of us are under the impression that working for Lady Gaga would be pretty awesome, Jennifer O’Neill, Gaga’s former assistant, is suing her for alleged unpaid overtime and the fact that she had to sleep with the singer.

Celebrity gossip website RadarOnline.com reports that the assistant is claiming she had no time for a personal life because she had to stay by Gaga’s side 24/7.

“I was by her side virtually 24 hours a day, even days a week,” said Ms O’Neill, speaking during a deposition.

“That includes sleeping in the same bed with her. Because she did not sleep alone,” she added.

We should note here that Ms O’Neill isn’t claiming that she had to have sex with Lady Gaga. Her grudge is that she had to be at Gaga’s beck and call around the clock.

“I felt it was required,” said Ms O’Neill, speaking about the unusual sleeping arrangement she had with Gaga.

Gaga has denied that Ms O'Neill is owed overtime

Ms O’Neill is claiming that her former boss owes her at least $393,000 plus damages for working for Gaga from 2009 to 2011. Ms O’Neill was paid $75,000 a year for her role as assistant to the Born This Way singer.

“Unlike anybody else on that tour, I did not have my own hotel room. I was not asked if I wanted my own hotel room,” said Ms O’Neill.

“I had no privacy, no chance to talk to any family, no chance to talk to any friends, no chance to have sex if I wanted to have sex. There was no chance to do anything,” she added.

So far Lady Gaga has denied that her former assistant is owed overtime. However, she has made no comments about her sleeping arrangements during that time. Gaga also allegedly called Ms O’Neill a “f**king hoodrat” under her breath while the pair were in court.
