Wanted star Max George Accosted by a Passionate Fan

The Wanted’s Max George claims that he was victimised when a meeting with a female fan turned into a one way make out session.

The twenty three year old singer said he was shocked when The Sun snapped a photo of an over excited blonde kissing him on the lips.

Max has been dating Michelle Keegan who plays Coronation Street’s Tina since the end of 2010 and a spokesperson for the singer said the wanted have an over excited fan base.

"The Wanted have an incredibly passionate fan base. At times the fans can be over-eager when they meet them, especially in a club or bar environment.

"In this case Max was approached and got slightly more than he bargained for."

Max and Michelle called off their engagement in April because of work commitments but told Fabulous magazine that she is still “very much in love.”

The actress said: "We're not engaged any more, but not because we fell out or there was an argument. It was just there was no chance of us getting married any time soon because of our schedules.

"He's away in America most of the time now and we just had a word about it. I'm a traditionalist so if I'm engaged, I want to get married and that's not happening soon."
