Benedict Cumberbatch made our hearts melt that bit more this week and gave us a good old giggle on top of it.
The star, who recently announced he is set to be a father for the first time as his partner Sophie Hunter is expecting the couple’s first baby, appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Not only did the pair chat about Benedict’s engagement to Sophie, but also about their exciting pregnancy announcement.
Ellen also quizzed him about any possible names they might have for the child, with suggestions such as ‘Engelbert’ thrown into the mix.
They also had a good giggle together about when they met last year and Benedict’s habit of photobombing celebrities.
