Lady Gaga has scrapped the release of her new video for R. Kelly duet “Do What U Want”.

A source told Page Six that the video, which was directed by alleged sexual predator Terry Richardson, glorified rape.

The video for the track was reportedly shot back in September and was due to be released in December.

The source revealed that Kelly plays the role of Gaga’s doctor and treats her for injuries not too dissimilar from the hip problems she suffered with last year.

In the intro, Gaga asks Kelly, “Will I ever be able to walk again?” to which he replies, “Yes, if you let me do whatever I want with your body.” Before adding: “I’m putting you under, and when you wake up, you’re going to be pregnant.”

In the lead up to the expected launch date, Richardson released this behind-the-scenes still of the pair, writing: “Lady Gaga and R. Kelly behind the scenes for their new music video ‘Do What U Want’ directed by Me… coming soon!!”[sic]

In January, Gaga took to her website to air her annoyance at the delayed launch of the music video. The ‘Telephone’ singer blamed the issue on time constraints and former employees who had “betrayed” her.

The source continued: “Gaga had a video directed by an alleged sexual predator, starring another sexual predator. With the theme, ‘I’m going to do whatever I want with your body’? It was literally an ad for rape.”

Earlier today, celebrity gossip site TMZ obtained a short clip of the controversial video. Be warned, this is very NSFW.
