Lola Saunders was given the backing of all four judges last night, after she wowed them with a ‘stunning’ Mariah Carey performance.
The 20-year old fishmonger sang Mariah Carey’s ‘There Can Be Miracles’, but admitted to struggling not to break down during the song.
Following her performance, the judges were quick to compliment her new style and vocals, but warned her to start having more self-confidence to compete in the competition.
Offering her advice, Mel B told her:
“You know what I have to say, that was stunning. You look stunning, you sounded stunning, you have to believe in yourself because you are amazing. Give yourself more credit.”
Louis was quick to add to the compliment, saying:
“I love the transformation, you look amazing. You are an amazing singer! I know what this means to you.”
Both Simon and Cheryl put their differences aside, agreeing that the 20-year old had ‘wowed’ them on the night.
