We just LOVE what Duchess Kate said about her 2007 split with Prince William

Cathy Donohue

Duchess Kate – an absolute lady.

If you’re a fan of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, you might be aware of their 2007 split – they basically broke up for a brief period that year.

It was just for a couple of months and they soon got back together, more on what went down here, but Kate’s thoughts on the subject make so much sense.

It turns out that the time apart made the royal couple stronger than ever and the split gave Kate time for her, extremely important when all is said and done.

The mum of three said that it made her a stronger person and allowed her to discover things about herself, ensuring that overall it was a good thing for her.

If you’re going through a breakup right now, her words might actually resonate with you.

According to Express.co.uk, the subject was brought up after the couple announced their engagement in 2010 and they addressed it in the subsequent interviews.

“I think I at the time wasn’t very happy about it, but actually it made me a stronger person.

“You find out things about yourself that maybe you hadn’t realised. Or I think you can get quite consumed by a relationship when you are younger.

“I really valued that time for me as well although I didn’t think it at the time. Looking back on it”.

Now, we’ve always had a lot of time for K Middy but the above words hit a chord and we love her even more now.
