In his first interview since splitting from girlfriend and Love Island co-star, Megan Barton Hanson, Wes Nelson has just confessed a sad truth about their relationship.
Speaking on This Morning, the star said that ultimately, his career and continued work on Dancing On Ice led them to break up.

Admitting that his heavy schedule left them with no quality time, Wes admitted that their relationship began to crumble and Megan was left “miserable”.
“In a normal relationship you can plan ahead – you can say ‘we’ll go to this place here, we’ll have a date night this week’, with my schedule, it changes day-by-day, week-by-week.”
Continuing, Wes admitted that Megan wishes he never took part in Dancing On Ice and his career just left them in a place they couldn’t salvage with Megan constantly upset.

What’s most upsetting is that Wes looked really upset while speaking about Megan and didn’t appear one bit bitter while discussing their relationship.
“It’s a shame. It is a shame because we did love each other, and it wasn’t just a holiday romance sort’ve thing,” he added.
