Huge congrats!
Westlife’s Mark Feehily has announced he is engaged to his long-time partner.
The 38-year-old singer took to Instagram on Friday morning to share the happy news with his followers, alongside a few photos from their romantic holiday in the Maldives.
While he kept the identity of his partner a secret, Feehily told his fans that “2019 has been so amazing to me so far and it’s only getting started.”
He added: “I wanted to be the first to say it…#Engaged.”

Fans flooded the post with congratulations for the pair.
While he kept his now-fiancé’s identity under wraps, the singer previously explained that he respects that his partner is “quite a private guy”.
He told BANG Showbiz [via RTÉ]:
“He’s a really fun guy but he’s not in the music or entertainment scene but he doesn’t like the red carpet.
“As much as it’s my decision to be on the red carpet it’s his to not bother with all that, and it is really nice because there’s a lot of people out there who would love to be on the red carpet with you to the point that you’d wonder if it was you or the red carpet they were after.”
The news comes as Westlife fans were over the moon last month when the band released their first single in eight years.
The song was written by Ed Sheeran and produced by Steve Mac.
Last October, the band announced a mammoth comeback tour and a new album. As part of the 32-date tour, they will play two gigs in Dublin’s Croke Park: July 5 and July 6.
They will also be playing five -yes, five – nights in Belfast’s SSE Arena: May 22, 23, 25, 26 and 27.
