What’s In a Name? Clearly a Lot to Singer Adele!

Adele has caused quite the stir with her determination to keep her son’s name a secret but it appears that it is all out in the open now as a source has revealed his full name.

Yesterday we reported that the singer had been spotted with a necklace on seemingly revealing the child’s name as Angelo.

Simon and Adele welcomed their son back in October. 

Today The Sun has reported that she and boyfriend Simon have named him Angelo James Konecki after a great deal of deliberation.

An insider told the newspaper: “They’ve called him Angelo James. What a lovely name… they were supposedly mulling over John, after Adele’s grandfather, though.”

They added: “They wanted to keep their choice quiet until they were ready, and wearing the necklace suggests she now is. It is only a name.”

The singer made her return to the red carpet at this year's Golden Globes. 

The award-winning pop star explained at the Golden Globes earlier this month that she wanted to keep the name to herself.

She said: “I am not sharing his name at the moment. It is very personal to me. I am enjoying him on my own.”

But that’s not the only thing that has been announced this week as it emerged that the Someone Like You songstress will also perform at the Oscars next month.

Well at least now she won't be pestered with more questions about what she called her son!
