"I definitely don’t think it’s going to be scripted. Producers are really going to look at what’s actually going on in our lives. There’s probably enough happening in all of our lives that it will speak for itself and [drama] won’t have to be created. Fans and viewers can see right through the fake stuff."When The Hills ended back in 2010, we learnt just how scripted the whole series was, with Lauren Conrad giving a raw interview on the truth behind the manipulation plus the producers admitted to using fake screens and sets in the final episode. And although Whitney is excited to take on this new project, she's nervous of the reaction. Worrying that her parenting skills and flaws will be put under the spotlight, Whitney says if it's all too much, she''ll be backing out.
"If it becomes too much drama for me, I can’t see myself signing up to do it again. But if it’s really fun and we’re able to create this community, and it’s authentic, then I don’t see why I wouldn’t do it again."The Hills is set to retun in 2019 with an official date yet to be confirmed.
