Simon Cowell is a busy man, he doesn’t have time for homemade birthday cards. In fact, it seems he prefers sending certificates these days, as the X Factor Chief splashed out on a ‘Lady’ title for his favourite old pal, Cheryl Cole.

Chezza, who turned 30 on Sunday, partied the night away with boyfriend Tre Holloway and Girls Aloud band mates Nicola and Kimberly. The Music Mogul purchased the singer a Scottish land deed, officially making her a lady.

Putting behind them that little issue of sacking her from X Factor USA, the pair are back to being BFFs and Cowell took to his Twitter to dismiss accusations of snubbing the Geordie gals birthday bash.
