WTF: John Mayer Dumps Katy Perry by E-Mail?!

We all remember that episode of Sex and the City when Berger dumps Carrie on a post-it note, so we sort of felt bad for poor Katy Perry. No, she didn’t get dumped by a sticky note, but apparently she did get dumped by e-mail. Ouch.

According to reports, ladies’ man John Mayer ended his rumoured relationship with the singer by sending her a ‘Dear John’ letter (hah!) via the wonders of e-mail.

Ladies, how would you react if you got dumped by e-mail? We all know that splitting up with someone is never fun, but seriously – getting given the boot by e-mail? We know that all of us in the Her.ie offices would be pretty livid/upset.

Apparently Katy’s friends are now worried that she’s become the latest victim of ‘Mayer the Player’ and his infamous mind games.

Katy was reportedly spotted at the Spearmint Rhino in Los Vegas with John and a group of his friends last weekend, and the pair were also recently spotted at the FYF music festival in Los Angeles.

John Mayer has reportedly dumped Katy Perry by sending her an e-mail.

“He begged for another chance, not the other way round. As if Katy would chase him after he told his mates he wasn’t attracted to her and thought she was fat!” said a source, speaking recently.

“Everyone’s upset that she agreed to another date. She says it’s strictly booty calls only, but it’s not really in her nature. He’s playing her and we all just wish she’d see him for what he is,” the source added.

So he dumps her by e-mail and then allegedly drops the ‘F’ bomb about Katy’s fabulous figure? Yikes! John has apparently invited Katy to join him at an upcoming concert, but given his recent comments, we imagine he’ll be waiting a LONG time to hear back from Katy.
