Remember Nicholas McDonald?
In today’s blast from the past, we bring you Nicholas McDonald, runner up in the 2013 series of The X Factor.
Nicholas, who rose to fame on the popular reality show and blew viewers away with his rendition of Sarah McLachlan’s Angel, confirmed the happy news on social media.
Sharing a photo of his new wife, Brandi, in her beautiful wedding dress, he captioned the Instagram. post “Mrs McDonald”.
According to reports, they held their wedding ceremony and reception in the beautiful setting of the Chatelherault Country Park in Hamilton, Scotland.
The announcement came as a shock to many as only last week, Nicholas confirmed the couple’s engagement, also via Instagram.
According to reports, they met on a cruise ship when Nicholas was performing and their relationship was a long-distance one for some time.
However, they have been living together for the past two months and the surprise proposal is thought to have happened at Trump Turnerry Resort.
The wedding was attended by many of a number of X Factor alumni including Sam Bailey, winner of the 2013 show, and Luke Friend.
Luke arrived at the venue with a guitar in hand and it’s thought he provided some of the evening’s entertainment.
