“Yes we dabbled”… We Always Knew Something was Going on Here

The stars of Dancing on Ice Torvill and Dean have finally admitted they had a brief romance after years of speculation. The Olympic Gold Medallists made their confession to Piers Morgan on his biography series, Life Stories.

Following the couple’s appearance on the programme, the talk show host later tweeted "BREAKING NEWS 'Yes, we dabbled...' - @torvillanddean finally admit to a romantic past together, albeit a very short one... #LifeStories". The tweet finally ended years of rumours about the pair.

Jayne and Christopher famously won the Olympic Gold Medal at the 1984 Sarajevo Olympics for skating the now well-known Bolero. The couple came out of retirement in 2006 to work as the mentors for the successful ITV series Dancing on Ice.

Despite their obviously close relationship, Jayne is happily married to sound engineer Phil Christensen while Christopher is dating Dancing on Ice judge Karen Barber.
