There’s a lot of cool jobs going out there, from professional luxury shoppers to office dog sitters, but this one might officially top them all.
Prince William and Kate Middleton are looking for a new personal assistant to joining their team in Kensington Palace, it would be like being on The Crown every day.
According to the job-hunting website Daybook, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge “require an experienced PA to provide comprehensive administrative support to a busy team.”
The role is permanent and the lucky hire will be in charge of managing the royals’ diaries, as well as arranging events, meetings, travel, organising and assisting with visits.
Whoever the lucky candidate is will also need to handle their telephone calls and draft letters and emails.
For those applying for the role, the application asks that you must “have previous personal assistant and administrative experience, including managing busy diaries and drafting correspondence.
“Candidates will have impeccable IT skills and a proactive approach.”
“The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times is essential.”
The job is based in the royal’s home in Kensington Palace and is the standard 37.5 hours a week, depending on the engagements that the couple have that week.
