Zac Efron has started filming Down To Earth season 2
Calling all Zefron fans.
Filming for the second season of Zac Efron's show Down To Earth is currently underway.
The first season of Down to Earth arrived on Netflix in 2020, and the High School Musical actor is back for more. While we don't have a release date just yet, season two is expected to hit our screens early next year.
Last year, Zac joined Darin Olien, a wellness expert on a journey of sustainability. The show saw them explore France, Peru, Iceland and Costa Rica in search of alternative lifestyles.
For season two, however, a world tour is not feasible. Instead, Zac and Darin will explore Australia in its depth, as there are fewer Covid-19 restrictions down under.
Yesterday, Zac teased his 44.9 million Instagram followers with a picture from the set of Down to Earth.
When the series first launched last year, Zac spoke about his passion for sustainable living.
"We are travelling around the world to find some new perspectives on some very old problems," he said. "Food, water, and energy are all the main staples for modern life. We're going to meet some top eco innovators to see how change is an inside job. And we're going to be eating really, really well."
He continued: "We need to start rethinking how we consume everything from our food to our power. Change has to start somewhere. Maybe it's time we all change. It's time to get down to earth."
The actor has been living in Australia since the pandemic started last March. He is currently living with his girlfriend Vanessa Valadares. A source close to Zac told People that he is thinking about making the move permanent.
"As of now, he has no plans to live permanently in L.A. again," the source said. "He loves Australia and considers it his home."
Down to Earth season two will be released next year.
