As Laura Whitmore announced her departure from Love Island, rumours and theories have been swirling around of who could be replacing her. After announcing she would no longer be hosting on Monday, she made the shock decision as she admitted it was "very difficult" to fly to and from South Africa to film the winter series and it began conflicting with new projects. She wrote: "I wish it was still possible but know you’ll be in safe hands. I was only planning to fill in for Caroline [Flack] for a series and it turned into 3 series.
