Returning Love Island bombshell Adam Collard has responded to Jacques O'Neill, after the latter made sarcastic comments about the former's relationship with Paige Thorne. While live-streaming on Instagram with Luca Bish, a fan asked Jacques about what he thinks of his relationship with Paige. To this, he said: "They seem to get on really, really well. They seem very happy together." Luca then said: "Glad the mum approves." To this, Jacques said: "Her mum seems really fond of Adam, so, yeah. I'm sure the Sunday dinner will go really well." The rugby player's comments were in relation to Paige's mother's reaction to their relationship during the Meet the Parents segment on Love Island. At the time, she said: "I'm not buying it. Taking to Twitter, he retweeted a screen recording of the Instagram Live and wrote: "Humble in defeat our kid, chin up x". Earlier this week, another islander – Remi Lambert – shared a video of Jacques making sarcastic comments about his rapping and said that Jacques and Luca bullied him during his time in the villa. In the caption, he wrote: "Everyone said I lied about the way I was treated in that villa, but this here is an example of what was going on whilst I was in there. Don't know why they wasn't kicked out for their behaviour to be honest. It's not banter, it's clear signs of bullying." Remi went on to say that Jacques "said bad things" about his appearance and the way he talks, while Luca encouraged it. "After about 3 strikes from Jacques I told him I won't be speaking to him anymore in the villa," he wrote. "Later on he tried apologising to me but like 10 minutes after he started with the snide comments again. I've tried to avoid this guy multiple times but he always ends up starting again. I don't know when it will stop."
