“Kevin is the most likeable dancer on the show and a brilliant choreographer. “Everybody loves him. He’s going nowhere.”
There has been much speculation over recent months that the pair are going to split officially soon.
Next year, Kevin and Karen are going on 44 tour dates together as part of the Strictly Come Dancing live tour.
However, the source said that they have been keeping their distance from each other for a while.
“Kevin and Karen still danced together in the group routines this weekend, but beyond performances they seemed to be keeping their distance. “Things are obviously very awkward between them. The understanding now is that they have sadly decided to split.”A spokesperson for the BBC said: “This is speculation only and no decisions have been made about the next series.”
