You can now go on a Derry Girls day-tour

Got a Derry Girls fan in your life?

With the third and final season of Derry Girls landing soon, we’re definitely working through some bittersweet feelings.

While we cannot wait to catch up with Erin, Orla, Michelle, Clare, and of course, Sister Michael, we don’t feel like we’re quite ready to say goodbye to this beloved show.

Still, if you were looking to celebrate all things Derry Girls ahead of the new season, then you may want to check out the Derry Girls Experience, a unique day-tour inspired by the Channel 4 show.

The tour comes courtesy of Hastings Hotel and McComb’s Coach Travel, and it offers fans of the show a fun-filled day.

The Derry Girls Experience kicks off at the Hasting’s Europa Hotel in Belfast where guests can hop on board their coach. They’ll be greeted with 90s-music as well as a 10p mixture of sweets, for ultimate nostalgia.

The coach will drive guests to Derry, where they will alight for a walking tour of the city. They’ll visit Guildhall, where President Clinton was welcomed in the 90s, as well as the Long Tower Church and Bishop’s Gate.

No Derry Girls tour would be complete without a visit to the famous Derry Girls mural, and guests will get the opportunity to snap a selfie there as well.

The highlight of the day-tour comes in the form of afternoon tea with a Derry Girls twist. Guests will be driven to the Everglades Hotel where they can feast on Tayto sandwiches, sausage roll baps and chips and cream horns. You’re then welcome to wash it all down with a complimentary cocktail.

Divine.

The day-tour costs £65 (€77.78) per person, and that fee includes return coach-fares form Belfast to Derry, the walking tour and afternoon tea.

Guests can also upgrade to the Be A Derry Girl package which includes an overnight stay and breakfast at the Everglades.
