Coronation Street star Jennie McAlpine signs up for I’m A Celeb

Coronation Street actress Jennie McAlpine is said to be the latest recruit for I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.

Jennie plays popular character Fiz Brown and fans of the soap are sure to be delighted that the actress is taking part in the reality show this year. According to reports, producers of I'm a Celeb have been eager to get Jennie on board for some time and are delighted that she's agreed to take part in the 2017 series. Considering that Jennie is a regular character on Corrie, factoring in the required time off around filming isn't an easy task but if the rumours are true, she's taking a short break specifically to head down under. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vko3eSwUric A source told The Sun:

 "Jennie’s been on the wishlist for some time and, after a lot of persuasion, she’s agreed to take part this year. "Corrie have given it the green light because they’ve been able to reschedule her storyline filming — so everything has finally fallen into place".

The line-up so far reportedly includes Jamie Lomas of Hollyoaks fame, Made in Chelsea's Georgia Toffolo and Vanessa White of The Saturdays. I'm a Celeb returns to our screens on November 19th and with confirmation that Ant & Dec will return as co-hosts, we're counting down the days. We have a feeling this might be the best series yet...
