Emmerdale planning shocking homeless storyline for one character this Christmas

Upsetting scenes ahead.

Just when you thought Christmas couldn't get any more devastating, Emmerdale producers are planning on introducing a homeless storyline for one major character - Bob Hope. Yeah. Pretty heartbreaking. Relationship problems, money issues, and a general lack of a place to live have been building up for Bob over the past few weeks, and it looks as if they could result in him not having somewhere to sleep this holiday season. Awhile ago, Bob moved in with Laurel only to be told that she simply did not love him anymore. He was unceremoniously kicked out of the house and moved into a B&B, but having not paid Eric for his room in many weeks, it seems as if Bob might be told to leave his new lodgings too. Emmerdale producer Jane Hudson said that whatever happens, Christmas isn't going be the greatest time for poor Bob.

“Emmerdale fans will have their spirits raised and their heartstrings pulled, with joy coming in the form of a surprise wedding and sadness from a down-on-his-luck Bob," she told The Express. 

“Bob, on the other hand, struggles to find work and his money worries mount. Will he spend Christmas without a roof over his head?”

Sounds like he might, Jane. Sounds like he might. Meanwhile, fans of the soap have been justifying horrified by the latest scenes between teenager Jacob and his teacher Maya. The grooming storyline caused a lot of discomfort a few nights ago as the pair had a one-on-one chat about Jacob's lying, leading to the teacher eventually kissing him. The story is expected to blow up, as most are, over Christmas.
