Helena Bonham Carter has been talking to Princess Margaret from beyond the grave.
Because of course she has.
The actor and the late Princess have apparently been discussing her upcoming role on The Crown, with Margaret saying that she had been doing a “great job.”
The Sun reports that Bonham Carter has been using a so-called “psychic hotline” to contact the Princess to ensure that she is doing the role justice.
She has allegedly even been having seances in her dressing room on set to prepare herself for the role.
A source told the publication:
“Although many of us might feel like laughing at what Helena is doing, it’s actually a reflection of how seriously she’s taking the part.
“As someone who has a very strong spiritual side, she firmly believes that she is getting tips directly from Princess Margaret.”
Apparently, these tips include telling Bonham Carter that she’s doing a better job than Vanessa Kirby did before her.
The younger actor seemingly didn’t inject enough “humour or class” into the character – something Bonham Carter is said to be nailing… according to Margaret, who is speaking from beyond the grave.
Turns out there might be something to it all though because the first photo of Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret was released earlier this year and she does look pretty perfect.
