Love Island’s Curtis and Tommy to swap careers for their own spin-off show

This sounds…different.

Love Island’s Tommy Fury and Curtis Pritchard are set for their own spin-off show – which will see them swap careers.

The programme, which is reportedly called The Boxer and Ballroom, is likely to air before the holiday season.

And, as the title would suggest, it would see Tommy hit the dance floor while professional Dancer Curtis would step into the ring.

An insider told The Sun:

“ITV wanted to explore a series for them, but didn’t just want a silly  contrived  fly-on-wall bromance type of show.

Instead, they’ve   come up with this career swap.”

The 23-year-old Her how, despite a number of their costars calling quits on their relationship, things were better than ever between him and Maura.

He said:

“Things have been incredible with Maura. Everything is fantastic; I couldn’t ask for it to be better. And while we’ve both been pretty busy, we’re spending lots of time together when we can.

“It’s good, though. It turns it into more of a real relationship. In the villa, you spend 24 hours a day together. But on the outside, you’ve got jobs and other things like that – you can’t spend as much time together, and you start to miss each other.

“It turns it into a real, healthy relationship.”

And he admitted he has “something in mind” to ask Maura to be his girlfriend – although, he noted, it’s a secret for now.

He continued:

“I have something in mind – I’m not going to say what, I’m keeping that a secret – but it’s going to be special to Maura. I want it to be special to her, because that’s what matters to me.”
