Netflix loves a good thriller, and they know how to do them well, they know exactly what type of show gets us hooked and their latest is no different.
The streaming service’s new murder mystery film The Weekend Away has everyone talking, and a lot of people seem to be making the same comment about the film.
The film, which stars Leighton Meester, hit Netflix last week and tells the story of Kate, played by Christina Wolfe, as she goes missing from a girl’s trip to Croatia and her best friend Beth, played by Meester, iI just watched ‘The weekend away’ on Netflix and I am speechless 10/10 would recommend.s forced to try and work out what happened to her friend, all with a hazy memory.
Suspicion arises from local police and in a country where she doesn’t speak the language, it only causes more drama to unfold.
Not only does it involve some serious drama and twists, the setting is easy on the eye and the style is to die for but that wasn’t the biggest take away from the film.
It was supposed to be a fun girls’ trip… until things took a dark turn.

It was the major and many plot twists that really have people talking and so many couldn’t seem to get over just what was going on when each was revealed.
Taking to Twitter, fans of the new Netflix drop all had the same thing to say.
One said: “Just finished watching “The Weekend Away” on Netflix. Oh god it is so GOOD. So many plot twists. 12/10 would definitely watch again.”
Another wrote: “The weekend away on Netflix was so damn good, it had you guessing til the end, but the actually ending was such a twist.”
