Netflix’s YOU season three officially wraps filming

We cannot wait to see what’s in store for Joe and Love.

Wonderful news for fans of the creepy drama series You, as filming wraps up on the show’s third season.

Sera Gamble, You’s showrunner, took to Twitter to announce that filming is now complete.

“Today is our last day of shooting season 3 of #YouNetflix,” she wrote.

“We had zero on-set positive COVID tests through a significant and scary surge here in LA. And I haven’t had one since. Because every single member of cast and crew worked very hard to take care of each other during a time that’s stressful, in a situation that’s tough to control.”

Elsewhere, the show’s official Instagram page left fans wanting more as they shared a photo of leading man Penn Badgley on set.

In it, Penn, who plays the broody Joe, is sitting with his back to the camera on a chair that has, quite appropriately, the word Stalker written on the back.

The caption reads: “don’t worry we have eyes on Joe at all times.”

The photo was snapped by his co-star Victoria Pedretti, who plays Love.

Last season, fans were sucked into Joe’s obsession with Love, and towards the end, it seemed he had finally met his match.

It’s safe to say that we cannot wait to see what season two has in store for this pair of stalkers.

In the final episode of season two, we saw Joe and Love settle into life in the suburbs. The last shot suggested that Joe already had a new target in site.

Fans have already gone wild with speculation over who the new object of Joe’s, erm, affection, will be. For a while, the leading theory is that this mysterious woman is not a love interest, but rather Joe’s mother.

Badgley, however, sent fans right back to the drawing board when he vehemently denied this theory.

“She’s definitely not his mom,” he told Bustle. “I can say that.”

We don’t have a release date for season three yet, but, just like Joe, we’ll be keeping a firm eye on the situation.
