PSA: You can now apply to be on the 2023 Love Island

Ellen Fitzpatrick

It’s open.

It hasn’t even been 24 hours since the final and we’re already missing Love Island, and waiting months for it to hit our screens again is torture.

While it may be over for a while, there is some good news, applications for the next series have officially opened and the best part is – there will be two seasons to apply for.

And the process to find love on our TV screens isn’t as complicated as you’d think – all you need to do is fill out the application form and wait to hear back from ITV.

The form explains: “ITV2 are looking for vibrant singles from across the UK who want to head to the sun, in search of love!

“The chosen cast will spend time in a luxury villa, getting to know one another, but to remain in paradise they must win the hearts of the public and their fellow Islanders who ultimately decide their fate on Love Island.

“If you think you’ve got what it takes, then we want to hear from you straight away.”

For your application, you’ll need to give your name, age, address and email address along with a full length photo of yourself; three optional extra photos; your occupation and your social media handles.

You will also need to create a video of yourself in landscape explaining why you want to be on the show and why you should be chosen over other people.

There are some eligibility requirements you need to keep in mind, you must be over 18 as of the time applying and you must hold or have access to getting a passport which is valid for at least six months after the end date and is less than 10 years old.

You must also be able to take part in the series for a minimum of 10 consecutive weeks and can view all the terms and conditions and access the form here.
