And apparently, she’s “dangerous”.

Riverdale has officially cast Veronica Lodge’s older half-sister in its forthcoming fourth season.

How exciting!

At the New York Comic Con this week, The CW show producers announced that Mishel Prada will join the series as Ronnie’s “dangerous” older half-sister.

Show runner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa announced that the character will come with Lodge traits.

He teased: “She’s just like daddy but a woman, so more dangerous.”

Ooooh.

Mishel also announced the news on her instagram page, and captioned it:

“So… I’ve been spending some time in Riverdale lately 🙂 || can’t wait for you to meet Hermosa Lodge ? #riverdale.”

In the picture, you can see dollars, Mexican pesos and matches from La Bonne Nuit – Veronica’s speakeasy.

The first episode in the new season will be a special episode dedicated to the late Luke Perry, who died in March aged 52, after a suffering a stroke.

As seen in a trailer, Archie Andrews receives a devastating phone call regarding his father, in the first episode.

In the episode, entitled ‘Chapter Fifty-Eight: In Memoriam’, sad scenes from his memorial also play in the trailer.

Speaking to TV Line about the finer details, show runner Roberto revealed the episode would not begin with a recap.

“After we finished the episode, everyone said, ‘You know what? You don’t really need that,'” he said.

“The producers also wanted a little bit of extra time, so we took out the ‘previously on’… We wanted to let the episode breathe a little.”
