RuPaul’s Drag Race Celebrity has just been announced because who doesn’t need more tucks in their lives?

People of note, start your engines.

A few weeks back, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK kicked off, giving us all a much needed VH1 based taste of Britain’s best drag superstars.

The series was no real surprise, given the success of the likes of RuPaul’s Drag Race Singapore, RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars and regular old RuPaul’s Drag Race.

However, it appears as if the man himself isn’t done with the spinoffs. Rather, he’s seemingly going to keep announcing various formats of the show until someone flat out tells him to stop.

And we’re OK with it too, tbh.

The latest version of the reality series is RuPaul’s Drag Race Celebrity – which means that rather having seasoned professional drag queens who have dedicated their lives to their art competing, we’re going to have celebrities who just want to have a bit of a laugh.

The series, which is expected to air in 2020, will features some currently unknown famous faces undergoing transformations from some of RuPaul’s most notable exports.

These include Bob The Drag Queen, Trixie Mattel, Nina West, Asia O’Hara, and Trinity the Tuck.

Oh, and Miss Vanjie, obviously.

Each episode will feature three celebrities getting transformed in a bid to win some prize money to donate to a charity of their choice.

“Doing drag does not change who you are, it reveals who you are,” said RuPaul.

“I can’t wait for the world to see what happens when our celebrity contestants get all up in drag!”

Same, tbh. Same.
