Ryan Tubridy received an ADORABLE letter from an eight-year-old fan ahead of the Toy Show

The Late Late presenter has no shortage of fans.

The most wonderful date of the year is fast approaching. Yes, the single greatest thing to emerge from this country, The Late Late Toy Show, will be on our screens on Friday 30 November.

In under ten days, we’ll all be snuggled up in our pyjamas with snacks (and maybe a cheeky glass of vino) at the ready, waiting to see what gas things this year’s group of kids say. Personally, we’re hoping for another John Joe moment!

The much-anticipated trailer emerged yesterday and while details have been sparse to date, Ryan is assuring viewers we won’t be disappointed:

“Well, I can say that it is not anything that you’ve seen before on the Toy Show.

“It’s like no other theme that has gone before – that’s a definite. That’s the most definite vagueness I can give you.”

Ryan’s attire on the night is always a point of conversation. He never fails to wow us with an epic choice of Christmas jumper and one young fan is hoping to add to influence his sartorial choice for The Toy Show.

The popular host took to Instagram to show a letter he received from eight-year-old Elodie, who included a pair of sock’s she wants Ryan to wear on the big night.

The young fan clearly did her research as she gifted Ryan with a pair of Beatles socks – one of his favourite bands.

It’s well recorded that he’s a big Beatles fan. Eight years ago, when President Michael D Higgins was on the Late Late, he revealed himself to be “more of a Rolling Stones than a Beatles fan” and Ryan said:

“Well that separates us as a Beatles man, but we won’t fall out over it.”

In her letter, the eight-year-old little girl said:

“It would be such a treat if you could wear the socks for the toy show.”

She had the letter beautifully decorated, with little annotations and stunning penmanship which Ryan admired.

We can’t wait to see if the socks make their debut on 30 November…somehow, we think they just might!
